They will answer all your questions concerning your academic career, such as the requirements for admission, the course contents of your Master’s program, the course schedule, and the recognition of previous coursework.

A formal application is required for admission to any Master’s program at the University of Tübingen. The application deadlines for international Master’s programs vary depending on your field of study. Even if you apply for a program well in advance, please note that you will receive notice of acceptance or rejection between 2 and 4 weeks after the program’s closing date only. Your admission notice will include a deadline for enrollment which you must meet.

The basic requirement for enrollment in a Master’s degree program is a completed bachelor degree (or any equivalent basic college degree). In case you cannot submit your diploma/certificate by the program’s closing date you may apply for conditional temporary enrollment and hand in your diploma later. Please check the dedicated website of the program you wish to pursue to find out about further application requirements.

Finally, the long-awaited day has come: You have arrived in Tübingen and are ready to begin your stay! Now what? Our Help Desk for international students will have you covered on all day-to-day matters, such as getting around in town, how to schedule your courses, and where to go to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the Neckar river with your new classmates. There is even a special preparatory course on these matters!

Moreover, the University of Tübingen offers a Buddy Program that aims to help you make acquaintances with your fellow German students, and lots of social and cultural events . We go the extra mile to make sure that you won’t miss out during your stay in Tübingen.
